Our sweet little boy Liam Michael!
My birth story is quick.... because it was a pretty quick birth!
Woke up Friday morning with a bit of a sore back. Assumed it was just from (not) sleeping, so jumped in the shower to relieve the pain a bit.
I was in the shower for about 20 minutes, realised it was about 8.40 so stood up to get out (had to get Josh to school!) - and had my first contraction.
3 mins later, another one - yelled to DH, 'I think we should go now!'.
We got to the hospital at about 9.10. By then they were less than a minute apart so someone from the hospital had to run and get a wheelchair for me... I could hardly walk!
Went straight into the delivery suite, several contractions later I felt the need to push. About 2 minutes later he was born!
Super quick, but super painful and very surreal. Everything went well with us both afterwards so we were cleared to go home by 2.00.
